DUBAI, DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, September 22, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — HealthNet MEA today announced the signing of an exclusive agreement with Anxo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., appointing HealthNet MEA as the exclusive partner responsible for the regulatory registration, commercialisation, marketing and distribution of COMIDE ER^® (Methylphenidate Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets) in the United Arab Emirates.

The partnership represents another significant milestone in HealthNet MEA’s strategy of bringing innovative, clinically differentiated pharmaceutical products to the Middle East while improving patient access through strong regulatory, commercial and distribution capabilities.

The agreement comes at an important time for ADHD treatment globally. Healthcare systems across numerous countries have experienced recurring shortages of methylphenidate medicines in recent years, highlighting the importance of strengthening treatment availability and ensuring patients have access to reliable therapeutic options. By introducing COMIDE ER^® to the UAE, the partnership aims to broaden treatment choice for healthcare professionals while supporting continuity of care for patients requiring long-acting methylphenidate therapy.

COMIDE ER^® utilises OROS^® (Osmotic Controlled Release Oral Delivery System) technology, an established extended-release drug delivery platform designed to provide controlled release of methylphenidate from a once-daily tablet. The technology combines an immediate-release outer layer with a controlled osmotic delivery mechanism that gradually releases the remaining medication throughout the day, supporting consistent drug delivery while reducing the need for multiple daily doses., COMIDE ER^® provides healthcare professionals with an additional extended-release treatment option, subject to regulatory approval.
